NOEL FAHEY - MBA, QFA, LIB.
Managing Director
Noel Fahey is Managing Director of Fahey Financial Solutions Ltd which he established in 2011. He has over 25 years financial services experience having previously worked in both Bank of Ireland and Danske Bank Group. During his career Noel has held a number of senior management positions including National Sales Manager (Ireland) for Danske Bank Group.
During his career Noel has gained a wealth of experience having advised large Corporates, SME’s and personal clients in all areas of financial planning, including pensions, personal and business protection and investments. He is regularly invited to present financial advice workshops to state bodies such as An Post and Irish Prison Services.
Noel is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), holds a Financial Services Diploma (LIB) and Diploma in Legal Studies. He is a member of Brokers Ireland and the Institute of Banking in Ireland. Noel also holds an MBA (Masters in Business Administration) from NUI Galway.
DEIRDRE COSTELLO - QFA
Financial Planning Manager
Deirdre assumes the role of Financial Planning Manager, is a qualified financial advisor and a member of the Life Insurance Association. Deirdre has worked in the accountancy and financial services industry for over 25 years and was previously involved in running her own financial brokerage. She specialises in all aspects of financial planning, including pensions, personal and business protection and investments. Deirdre believes in providing a professional, efficient and honest service and has built long-standing trusted relationships with her clients over the years.
Sheena McGrath BComm, F.C.A., A.I.T.I. APA
Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Sheena is both a fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and an AITI Chartered Tax Advisor. She has in excess of 25 years’ experience having previously worked as part of the management team in the Ernst and Young tax group in Galway where she managed the tax affairs of both individuals and companies in the region and more recently with Coll & Co, Tax Specialists in Barna.
In addition to advising a portfolio of clients, Sheena has responsibility for the Financial Management and Accounting for the business and is part of the Strategic Planning and Direction Team.
Sandra Kavanagh BSc (Hons), APA Pensions
Office Manager
Sandra has over 25 years of industry-based accounting, financial and management experience. During her career Sandra has worked on a global level in multinational corporations and SME’s in multiple sectors including Contract Manufacturing, Motor and Retail.
Sandra’s experience extends from financial control to process improvement, ensuring compliance throughout while always remaining customer focused.
Sandra holds a BSc. (Hons) in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University in partnership with ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants). She is a member of the LIA (Life Insurance Association of Ireland) and has recently completed her Accredited Product Advisor (APA) in Pensions and Regulation with a view to completing her QFA designation. Sandra also holds a certificate in Marketing from City & Guilds London.
Remee Cunningham
Office Administrator
Remee brings extensive experience in administrative roles, having worked at renowned institutions such as the Cork Opera House and the National Opera House in Wexford. Remee has collaborated with Ireland’s leading arts companies and is now utilising her skills at Fahey Financial Solutions as Office Administrator, to support the day to day operations and assist the advisory team in delivering first class financial solutions to our expanding client base.
